Maria Minerva

A few weeks ago Maria Minerva rolled into town to play at Peski Nacht with Gwenno and Dau Cefn and it really was a fantastic evening. Lovely lovely lovely. As I’ve taken to drawing each headline act that plays at Peski Nacht, here is the lady herself, Maria Minerva. She was brilliant she was.

I Saw R. Stevie Moore

Last Sunday at Jacob’s Antiques Market in Cardiff, I saw one of the best, if not THE best gig of my life. Serious. It was almost like a day festival and was just brilliant with films, art exhibitions and music from David Mysterious, Y Pencadlys and the fantastical R. Stevie Moore. Thank you sooo much Peski for putting on such a fantastic event! I also held my first exhibition which included this drawing of R. Stevie Moore… which he signed for me! Whoop! He also had a blue beard. Cool.

Mwgwd gan Plyci – EP newydd! / Mwgwd by Plyci – new EP!

Fi mooooor ecseited! Mi fydd Plyci yn rhyddhau EP newydd, Mwgwd, ar label Peski yn y dyfydol agos iawn iawn iawn. Aaaa fi nath gal y fraint o wneud y gwaith celf eto. Hwre a henffych. Rwyf wrthi yn gwrando arno nawr ac mae’n rhywbeth hyfryd iawn.

Im zuper excited! Plyci will very very soon be releasing his new EP, Mwgwd, on Peski records and I had the privilege (I forced him to let me) of doing his artwork again. Joy and Jesus. I’m currently listening to it and it really is something very lovely.

Penblwydd Hapus Iesu!

Gwenno – Cofia, mae’n Aeaf

Dyma lun newydd nes i ar gyfer can Nadolig newydd blydi lyfli y sibling sef Cofia, mae’n Aeaf. Ma fe’n swynio fel ddylse fe fod ar soundtrac Y Cloc. Fydd e ar gael i lawrlwytho am ddim o wefan Peski cyn hir. Hedd.

A new drawing what I did for siblings beautiful new Welsh Christmas song Cofia, mae’n Aeaf. It sounds like it should be on the soundtrack of the classic Welsh film Y Cloc. It will be available to dowload for no pennies from the Peski website very soon. Peace.

Album Artwork for Plyci

Now I spent a good ol’ while making this guy above there. He’ll be on the album cover for the new set of sounds by the horribly talented Plyci (incidentaly, that hairy face is in fact his) out on the marvelous Peski records later this year. Below is the back and stuff:

He’s a floating face in space. Space is cool. Speaking of cool, we were in Geneva last weekend singing songs, getting high on ear candy and being frozen by the awesome wonder that is a non-polluted river. Clear waters are like tears from heaven. Amen.
